Springfield Hotel is located at the foothills to Porters Pass, which in the winter has some of the best ski fields in New Zealand. We offer a service, if needed, to take people up the mountain by 4x4.

In the summer Castel Hill and Flock Hill are only a short drive away. They have by far some of the best rock climbing in the world; so after a hard day skiing or climbing you can come and relax in the hotel with a wine or beer, soak in the spa or have a great meal in the restaurant.
